Draper Days Rodeo!!! July 19, 2008

On Saturday night we were talked into going to the Draper Days Rodeo. I am not going to lie to you I was not excited to go at all. But our friends who are slowly becoming cowboys and arm wrestling champions told us that we would not be let down and we weren't. We had a lot of fun, I don't care who you are a rodeo is really fun!!! We had front row seats so the kids had a bulls eye view of all the excitement. We ate lots of junk food and loved watching all the events. Our favorite was the Bull riders, those guys were so tough. We saw a woman get bucked off her horse and the horse fell backward right on top of her. We all screamed and John jumped out of his seat like he was going down there to help her. It really freaked him out. So now we are sold on the Rodeo thing and will do it every year. Thanks Opfars for not giving up on us.

This is the kids running after the cash cow. They all got money!! Spencer got 5 bucks, Daniel 3 and Jessie pulled off a buck. Jaida didn't get any, but it didn't take Spencer long to give her some of his. I was a little nervous because I am not kidding there were a million kids running after this calf. You can see little Jess and Jaida in the skirts and matching tops.
Good job kids!!! They got to buy all their own snacks!!!
