Well the day finally arrived that Daniel has been waiting for forever!!! He was baptised Saturday night at 8:00 P.M This was such a special night for all of us. It was very spiritual and we had so many people there who we love so much to support our little man.

Sammy and Spencer both gave talks that were really, really good. No one helped them at all! Sammy spelled the word BAPTISM and cut and colored each letter and pasted them on colored paper. She then explained how each letter represents something about being baptised like...B is for Beginning, then why it is the beginning etc. It was darling. Spencer spoke on the Holy Ghost. Ally sang a beautiful song and I did a fun spot light on D-man that made everyone laugh and also feel how special we think our little boy is.

After we all drove over to our house ( it looked like a funeral procession) and had an ice cream bar with every kind of candy and ice cream etc you can imagine. We were up very late and had a bunch of people stay the night, then the party spread to the next day and night and now at almost midnight we are done with the parties. It is always so fun to be with family and friends.


I was baptised in this same font by my Father many years ago!!



What made this such a special day also was that Daniels Grandpa who has been on a mission in Mexico for over a year had to fly a sick missionary home. So he was able to attend the baptism. It was a very nice surprise for Daniel who loves his Grandpa so much.
