We just got back from another fun little camping trip with some of the greatest people in the world. I have to say we feel so blessed to be able to have our friends in our lives. They are amazing people with amazing families. All of the Husbands are incredible fathers and husbands and all of the wives are fantastic Mommies and wives!! We have been traveling with the same group of friends for 7 years now and have experienced some very memorable things from births of a new family member to near death experiences. I will never forget how happy I was to see Cy and Chris walk into the E.R when Johnny broke his neck and should have died. They honor their priesthood and were able to lay their hands on his head and give their best friend a blessing to be well. The feeling in that room I can never explain, but it was real and incredible. I will never forget that. I love these people like I do my own family. I know if I ever need something I can call any of them at any time and they would do anything for me. Each one has had a huge impact on my life in some way or another. I will quote Chris Opfar what he said as we sat around the fire last night..."Our lives have never been the same since we have met eachother!!!" It is so true. Our children have grown up together.
John and I were driving home and we started talking about how we only have 5 or 6 more years of camping with our little kids before Ally and Sammy will be grown. We know how fast time goes and it made us both get lumps in our throats. I just cherish every family memory we make. No amount of money can ever replace the memories we make when we spend time with our children.

Your such a good little blogger!
I am a little disappointed that I didn't see pictures at the Minnetonka caves or the hot springs!
What a great trip that was! Can't wait to do it again.
