Everywhere we go my little man will find some kind of creature and catch it!! He is other wise known as "Lizard" His hero was Steve Erwin and he recorded every one of his shows. When Spencer found out that he had been killed I looked over on the couch and he had big crocodile tears rolling down his cheeks. That was a very sad day for us.

Spencer also has a huge bank of knowledge about every creature on earth. When we were driving to Yuba I was doing letter flashcards with my little girls and one of them was a Narwhal. Now I am 34 and never heard of a narwhal. I asked the girls what a narwhal was and cute Spencer pipes in and says...."Oh mom, a narwhal is a type of whale, it is otherwise known as the unicorn of the seas. It has a long tooth that comes right out of its head that people think is a horn. It lives in the arctic and uses the tooth to crack through the ice." I just sat there staring at him in unbelief!!! who knew!!

When we were driving in Cozumel, Mexico he said..."So mom, what is your favorite sedimentary rock?" I sat there for a minute and then asked him to name 5 and I would choose. He named about 8 to 10 sedimentary rocks. I love that little man so much.
